It is the Alberta Society of Artists' (ASA) mandate to foster and promote the visual arts in Alberta, to endorse the recognition of Alberta artists throughout our province, Canada and abroad. ASA is dedicated to acting as a collective voice on issues pertaining to provincial, cultural affairs, and further, to contribute to the well being of the artistic community it serves.

Canadian Artists’ Representation/Le Front des artistes canadiens (CARFAC) is incorporated federally as a non-profit corporation that is the national voice of Canada’s professional visual artists.
The St. Albert Painters’ Guild was incorporated under the Society Act in 1987 to meet the growing needs of the Visual Arts community. It is dedicated to assisting all artists, regardless of experience level.

VASA provides a cooperative workplace of 19 artist studios and an exhibition space. Our programs and workshops also support the professional development of visual artists by providing information, training, and opportunities for inspiration, experimentation, and fellowship.
