Yesterday with the help of my highly analytic brother I installed my show at the Dow Centennial Center (Fort Saskatchewan) in the Alberta Lottery Fund Art Gallery. I do not know how I could have possibly put up close to thirty pieces of art work on a variety of walls and movable columns without his help. I would have just used my "artist's eye" to hang the pieces but my brother used the tape measure, pencil, paper, calculator to find the perfect placement and alignment for every picture. I just needed to pound in the nails. All and all it only took two hours which I think is a great time considering that I probably was more of a hindrance than an asset. I am very pleased with the overall look of the exhibition.
The gallery is open every Thursday and Friday from 11- 2 p.m.. and my show runs until June 24 when I have to take it down which will be a much easier endeavor (I hope).
